What a year 2018 has been and I have had the privilege to meet some amazing couples and photograph Kent weddings throughout the year. I had a quick look at my library and I took 72,173 photos last year at weddings alone! That doesn't include all the 'Try Before You Buy' photos....
It really has been a privilege to photograph such a diverse year of weddings which included getting an owl to look at the camera, the groom in a full leg cast (I felt so sorry for them but they really made the most out of it can got some great photos), a bride being surprised with a horse-drawn carriage, and the bride getting into the sea...optionally?!
The best joke during the speech goes to Pete...
"I'd like to thank Amy's parents for bringing up such a beautiful, intelligent, and simply amazing person...It's just a shame I've married her sister."
That one really had me going for a while along with everyone else! I'll just add this photo for balance so that Amy doesn't feel too bad about that....
One of the highlights for me personally was reaching the final of Kent Wedding Photographer of the Year 2019. This really topped off a great year and it was so nice to get recognition for all the hard work by an external judging panel. I am incredibly proud to be a Kent wedding photographer, and I hope next year I can achieve one better and hit that top spot!
2019 is set to be my busiest yet and I am nearly fully booked for Kent wedding photography. I hope everyone I have photographed has had a brilliant first year being married and I look forward to meeting everyone for their wedding this year!
